Emerald on Calcite

Coscuez, Western Emerald Belt, Boyacá, Colombia.

Very aesthetic specimen composed of a central prism of gem quality emerald, aerial and pinacoidal terminated in very good condition, just slightly touched on the side. Stands out the intense green color and great transparency of this emerald, emerging from a lutite matrix surrounded with more emerald and calcite crystals, some of them located very appreciative at the top.
