Emerald on Calcite

Mina Peñas Blancas, San Pablo de Borbur, Boyacá, Colombia.

Lovely white calcite matrix, compound of two faces, one of them covered with tiny calcite crystals with shiny faces and the second one showing at least a dozen of emerald crystals in different sizes, featuring two crystals located at the matrix top, arranged in “L” figure and topping the piece with a great aesthetic. Overall, this is a pretty good specimen.
