Emerald on Pyrite

Muzo, Western Emerald Belt, Boyacá, Colombia.

A very interesting matrix of glowing pyrite that hosts several emerald microcrystals and the main emerald prism with great intense green color. These matrixes are less common than we could think since is common to find pyrite in the emerald matrix but not as the host rock.
