Emerald on Calcite and Lutite

Muzo, Western Emerald Belt, Boyacá, Colombia.

Central emerald prism embraced with a lutite matrix and white calcite that ends up the perfect combination to highlight a nicely and intense green color. Specimen very characteristic of Muzo deposit.
