Henmilite on Olshanskyite

Fuka mine, Fuka, Bicchu-cho (Bitchu-cho), Takahashi City, Okayama Prefecture, Chugoku Region, Honshu Island, Japan

Henmilite is a very rare mineral whose origin in the world is the Fuka mine and whose collection is forbidden for several years. Elegant and elongated with a very white Olshankyite matrix that contrasts nicely with the numerous triclinic pinacoidal Henmilite crystals. The crystal measures more than 5 mm and is covered by a layer of a mineral that has not been determined yet, this is not strange, if we consider the rarity of these specimens. There is no doubt, a magnificent collector’s piece due to the size of the matrix and the crystals of Henmilite, which tend to be small in all the samples found.

Dimensions: 61 x 37 x 11 mm
